  • We have one mind... We have one love... We have one mission from above...

I love the song that I just posted below. I absolutely love it!!! When my sisters went to Russia a few years ago a guy on there team - Tim Kruse - wrote the song and recorded it. This song while it was written to apply to there mission trip to Russia, I think can also apply to anyones life. Especially my life. It was like a refresher, reminding me once again why I am in Taiwan. You know, everyone gets tired, we get caught up in the everyday life and sometimes forget the vision. I forget the reason I'm here. This song reminded me why I am doing what I'm doing.

"We have one mind, we have one love, we have one mission from above.

And we will stay faithful, for only one smile, could change a life of loneliness."

This is my ultimate goal... To show a child out there that they don't have to be lonely. While I may not be able to be there for them, there is a God in heaven who will always be by their side.

The goal is worth it, the vision is here... I just can't forget why I'm here.

But I have ONE mission from above. God will stay faithful and through it all we change a life... a heart... a country...

  • Make someone smile. . .

When you work at the front desk of the library you have to be polite, you have to have manners and you must always be nice to the patrons even when they are mean to you. So, a gentleman was standing, waiting to be helped. I asked him if I could help him and he ask me if he could check out a book. He then promptly pulls out his credit card and fumbles with it then drops it. I'm like, well sir, thats not the card that I need to check out your book, but if you want to give it to me thats okay. He smiled at me and then reached into his bilfold to find his library card. After he fumbled through all of his cards he finally found his library card, pulled it out and yes, he did it folks, he threw the card at me! Not on purpose of course, but the poor guy was so embarrased from fumbling around that I don't think he could make his hands work. I quickly checked his book out to him, he left and I smiled to myself. I love it when I don't have to be the fumbling person, but the person that got to smile.

Do something to make someone smile, it may help them get through there day.

  • have you ever stopped and wondered why you do something? why did you take a giant step and make commitments that one day you do not want to keep? why when your heart is hurting so bad and you need someone to love you, you build a wall so thick around your heart that know one can break through? why do we as humans make one choice in our lives when we know it will lead to one more choice and then another choice? why do we knowingly put God on the backburner when we know we should be on fire for him? why do we push ourselves to accomplish so much in the world when we have nothing accomplished in our hearts? why do we wander around in the world wondering where we went wrong in our lives, to get us to the point that we are at? why do we as humans want the things that we want? why do we tell God no? why do we do what we want, and not what God wants? why do we live like others are living? why is it so important for us as human being's to be happy? why do we want all of life's riches and joys when we know in the end it will do us no good? why do live the way we do when we know what God want's?

Have you ever wondered these things? Has God brought you to the point of brokenness in your life? Have you come to the point when you have done everything the wrong way and your last resort is God? Why does God let us do this to ourselves? Why do we come to a point in our lives when we say why? Why God? Why God did you let me do this to myself?

Then you here God say: I want you open and broken before me, listen to my word's and I will direct your path, I will walk with you through the shadow of death, I will lead you through the paths of righteousness, I will bless you when you are persecuted, but most of all my son I will love you, I have loved you, I have let my own son die for you, Oh, yes my son, you ask me why, and I tell you because I love you. Because I do love you.

  • Well alot of things have been happening in my life lately. . .So I think I'll just start at the beginning and try to keep it short.

Last about a week and a half ago I got sick, I was having these really bad headaches and I just felt bad. So in the middle of the night Tue. I got up to take a shower (bad idea) usually showers make me feel better but this was not the case. . .I got really dizzy and I passed out in the shower but woke up immediatly went I fell into the wall, I managed to get out of the shower and promptly passed out on the bathroom floor. My mom came and checked on me and found me asleep on the bathroom floor(that's not really normal). She got me up I sat down in a chair and passed out again. So my parents took me to the ER where the doctors checked me out and decided there was nothing wrong with me(well at least they knew I wasn't going to die)I was just really dizzy from my headache. I went home and played sick the next couple of days but now my haedache is gone and I feel great.
I start my two week vacation today and I plan on being just a little lazy and having lots of fun. I bought a car, It was a rebuildable but it is almost completely brandnew looking and I will be driving soon. . .It's a Pontac Sunfire. . .
and that is my enjoyable life. . .tatafornow. . LeeAnn
